Handmade soft soled leather baby shoes and leather booties
Two childhood friends following the same career path. Johanne and I Rita both in the garment leather industry for over 25 years.Seven years ago our careers had to change paths due to health reasons.
With the birth of twins, Dean and Mason a new idea came to being. Softsoul baby shoes was created. We wanted to create a perfect shoe, a huge 25 ton machine was purchase to cut the shoes and a professional embroidery machine. Within months we were making shoes.
Every leather skin purchased is examined keeping in mind these are being worn by precious souls. Every pair is handcrafted , we can proudly say "nobody uses the same quality we do for our leather baby shoes".
We only use genuine soft leather , every pair has a suede sole. We listened to our customers , how can they send their child to daycare with these shoes. The idea of toughtek soles , not only do we use toughtek , we sew the toughtek to the suede. You never have to worry , if your child plays outside , or you wold like to wipe his shoes from daycare germs , Toughtek is for you, extremely resistant, waterproof , and soft.
By doing this full time on our own time , we are able to create our shoes in less than 3 days.We love what we make and hope you will too !
